On June 15th, 2023, life threw me a curveball: triple-negative breast cancer. A phone call I will never forget. I remember asking my doctor “Am I gonna die? Can I beat this? Is there a cure?” She said “Niccole, if anyone can beat this, it’s you. But I fear your journey won’t be easy—this is aggressive, and treatment options are limited.”

I took a deep breath, said a prayer and just knew this wasn't the end of my story, it was the beginning. 3 surgeries, 13 rounds of chemo, 130 hours freezing my head (thanks to my rockstar hubby!), 18 rounds of immunotherapy, it’s been a ride! LOTS of tears and fears BUT through it all I stayed as positive as possible, kept fighting with everything I had and never lost my faith!

On February 12th, I reached a milestone I will never forget: survivorship. And today, I am proud to say I am 1.5 years cancer free! But the fight doesn’t end here. Sadly, my sweet mom is now starting her own battle with the exact type of breast cancer I had. Watching her begin this journey brings back so many emotions, but it also lights a fire in me to keep pushing, supporting, and raising awareness. Because no one should have to fight this alone.

I didn’t get here by myself. YOU were with me—family, friends, and an incredible community. We fought cancer together, and we won. And now, I’m asking for your love, prayers, and support as my mom begins her fight.

This is bigger than just me. It’s for my mom. It’s for those still in the fight. It’s for the survivors. And it’s for the loved ones we’ve lost too soon. That’s why I’m asking for your help—to raise money, spread awareness, and keep fighting until cancer is knocked out for good!
