Each year, ProHealth comes together for the Komen Connecticut More Than Pink Walk?a meaningful event that raises awareness and funds in support of breast cancer research and care for all those still fighting.

We?re dedicating this year?s walk on October 26 to our colleague Karen Janes, from our patient experience team, who passed away in August after facing breast cancer with quiet strength. Even while managing her own pain, Karen continued to care deeply for patients?meeting each one with empathy, patience, and respect.

We?re walking in support of life-saving research and care?and in memory of Karen, whose compassion continues to inspire us.
