My wife Barbara is a two-time breast cancer survivor -- 38 years and 13 years. She also has the BRCA gene mutation that is predictive of breast and ovarian cancer.

My involvement supporting her in Komen dates back decades!!

She served on the founding committee of the Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure in 1993 and in 1999 on the Connecticut Affiliate Founding Committee.  She worked in all aspects of Race and Affiliate planning, sponsorship, fundraising, branding and grant-making.

After 42 Races and Walks over 32 years in Southwest Florida, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Dallas and NYC, our team Puffer's Pals alone has raised more than $90,000 in modest, grassroots, individual donations. We both strongly believe that no donation is too small and no step too short or slow.  The link to donate to our team is below.

We?ve kept at it rain or shine, with teams large and small. If you joined us in the past, consider joining us again.
