In honor of my dear friend Kate, I’m organizing a team for the Seattle Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk.

As Kate’s brother once said, she was known for telling people when it was time to “get with the program.” Today, the program she’d want us all to get with is ending breast cancer for good.

As a member of this team, each of us is playing a role in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever. The money we raise will help fund groundbreaking research for more effective treatments, and provide vital support services—like breast cancer education, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance, and more—for those facing breast cancer today.

Ending breast cancer takes all of us. United in this effort, we can honor Kate’s legacy, support those in need right now, and help find the cures of tomorrow.
