In May 2024, I started my cancer journey. I was ultimately diagnosed with stage 1 triple positive Breast Cancer. What started as DCIS in SITU quickly became more serious after two lumpectomies revealed invasive cancer. Since then, I’ve completed 12 rounds of chemo (ending in January 2025), 21 rounds of radiation, and I’ll be finishing hormone therapy this October. This walk is a way to celebrate how far I’ve come, honor the fight, and keep moving forward surrounded by the people I love.
