My Story
In April 2023, my world changed when I was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer. What followed was nearly a year of intense treatment—filled with tough days, countless appointments, and moments that tested every part of me. But here I am today, standing stronger, healing more every day, and finally ready to lace up my shoes and take part in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk this September.
This walk is personal. I'm not just walking as a survivor—I'm walking as a daughter and a niece of strong, incredible women who also fought this disease with courage and grace. Their strength helped carry me through, and now, I walk for them, for myself, and for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer.
I’m deeply grateful for the medical advances that made my treatment possible. But we still have work to do. That’s why I’m walking—to raise funds for continued research, support, and hope. Because no one should have to face this alone, and because we all deserve a future where breast cancer doesn’t take another loved one from us.
I would be honored to receive your donation, but what would mean even more is your presence. Join my team, Walking with My Why. You are all my “why”—my family, my friends, my community—and having you walk beside me would be the greatest gift of all.
