My Story
Hi, my name is Sofia, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 36.
I've supported and walked in Komen events for years, always showing up for the cause, but I never thought I'd be walking for myself.
In Novermber 2024, I found a lump in my left breast. I almost brushed it off, but I followed my gut and got it checked. After months of appointments, scans, and an MRI, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in April 2025.
Cancer doesn't get to take my power, and it sure doesn't get to take my voice. I'm scared, I'm strong, but I know I'm not alone. There's a whole community out here walking beside me, holding onto hope, lifting each other up, and celebrating every little win.
Your support helps fund research and provides real help to people going through breast cancer right now. Let's keep showing up, for me, for you, and for everyone who needs to know they're not alone.
