In December of 2024 Claudia Osburn was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the age of 25 she was shocked. Who knew she could get this diagnosis this early in life. She had to undergo a double mastectomy and chemotherapy with many test and appointments in between. Now in the summer of 2026 she has been declared cancer free and in remission.  Her dear mom, Luz Ortiz battled breast cancer for 6 years. She was what we picture the definition of strength and grace to be during her fight. Sadly, she passed away in March of 2023. She lives on in in her family and friends. We know that if she were here she would join in not only my fight but in the millions of fights that brave women around the world are battling daily.  We not only walk for Claudia but in the memory of her beautiful mom Luz (Lucy) and all of the brave souls who bear the burden of cancer.
