My Story
My cancer journey began April 2023. I had two surgeries three weeks apart when a second cancerous area was found during my initial surgery. Radiation treatments followed. Life is back to normal with daily meds for the next eight years, mammograms and MRI’s alternating every 6 months.
This year, I again joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help.
I am walking today for the members of the Sauk Prairie Bosom Buddies, amazing women who have walked this same journey, those women who have not yet been diagnosed, and those who have lost their lives. We need our doctors, researchers, and scientists to continue their research to find cures.
