I am pleased to say that I am 10 years cancer free this year. When I was first diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, I didn't  realize what a long process it would take to be cancer free. Anyone who has gone through breast cancer treatment, or knows someone going through this right now, knows there are many rounds of chemotherapy,  radiation and multiple surgeries.  It was a two year journey for me, and at that time I didn't know anyone who had gone through treatment to tell me that . Thankfully all that is behind me and every day I get is another day to be thankful for.
I am so proud to be part of such a wonderful cause. I look forward to help in the fight to find a cure for this disease.

Not only does this event raise money to help research find a cure to end this disease. It also helps with financial assistance to those in need, and provides resources for support groups for anyone going through their own journey.
