Why I Walk
This year, I'm proud to walk in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk for the fourth year in a row, in memory of my mom and in honor of loved ones who have faced breast cancer. While the walk was canceled last year due to weather, my family and I still found time to walk together—and this year, I’m looking forward to hopefully participating in the official event alongside the larger Komen community.
This cause is deeply personal to me. Breast cancer continues to impact far too many lives—over 300,000 people in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed this year. While progress has been made, there’s still so much more we can do to support patients, fund research, and ultimately find the cures.
Your donation—no matter the amount—can make a real impact. It helps provide:
Breakthrough research that brings us closer to a cure
Support services for patients navigating treatment
Financial assistance for those facing unexpected costs
Trusted guidance through Komen’s helpline and navigation programs
I'm hoping to raise $1,000 again this year, and I’d be grateful for your support.
Will you consider making a donation today? Every step I take and every dollar you give helps us move closer to a world without breast cancer.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
