We walk for the ones who have passed, survived, and those who have had loved ones with the disease. My reason for creating this team was for my late mother Claire Bodrian who will always remain in my heart for as long as I live. She was an artist with a love for adventure, having traveled the world and was a mother, sister, wife, and friend. Though she may be gone in this world she will forever remain in the memories we all shared of her. Her memory lives on in our hearts, and I live every day wondering if this is what she wanted me to do. I know that she had always expected great things for me in my life, but I am trying to find out what path I should take and I know she is following my path in this lie through what I believe to be her reincarnation through the thoughts of all monarch butterflies. Each season that I see so many I believe that her love grows stronger. Any time that I am having doubts or feeling down I am reassured by the sight of a single monarch fluttering by. So today I fly on in her stead to help the cause of fighting for a cure for breast cancer. I rise to the challenge along with my family who have decided to fight along with me in this walk to raise money for this fundraiser.
