My Story
Once again this year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk on Sunday, Nov3rd. . I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
If you look up Charity Navigator you will see that Susan G Komen uses their donations wisely for the effort to eradicate breast cancer in the future and to help those suffering now.
I have signed up late this year and I am dedicating this walk to the most remarkable women, Ernestine Bass. She passed recently and was a dear friend and fellow kindergarten teacher and my own sons' kindergarten teacher. She was so vey well loved and respected by all who knew her. She (like myself) made it through the first bout of breast cancer but wasn't as lucky with her second round more recently..She passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side and we will all miss her greatly.
