My mom was the kind of person who filled every room with light. She was active, always smiling, and carried a free spirit that touched everyone around her. For many years, she served as a Registered Nurse at Palomar Hospital, later continuing her career as a travel nurse. In every role, she gave so much of herself?offering comfort, advice, and care to others when their loved ones were facing some of life?s hardest moments.

When she was diagnosed, our family saw that same love reflected back?so many of you were there for her, just as she had always been there for others. That support meant the world to her and to us.

Walking in her honor is our way of keeping her spirit alive, while also fighting for a future where no family has to go through what we did, alone. By supporting this fundraiser, you are not only honoring her memory, but also helping to provide that same sense of community and hope to others.
