June of this year, my world shifted profoundly with a breast cancer diagnosis. The news was overwhelming, marking the beginning of a journey filled with uncertainty but also immense strength. July brought surgery—a pivotal step in facing this challenge head-on. Now, as I await radiation therapy, I reflect on the resilience that has carried me through these months.

This journey has not been one I’ve walked alone. The unwavering support from my mom, my sons, my daughter-in-loves, my siblings, and my beloved family and friends has been my anchor. Their love, encouragement, and presence have been a source of light during the darkest days.

As I participate in the Breast Cancer Walk, I carry not just my story but the stories of countless others who battle this disease with courage. Each step I take is a testament to the strength within us and the power of community.
