Have you ever met someone and later realized you were placed in each other?s lives for a reason?

In 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. That diagnosis forever changed me. Around the same time, I met Melissa?our kids attended the same school and played on the same baseball team.

During my treatment, Melissa was inspired to schedule her baseline mammogram. To our dismay, she was diagnosed with Stage 0 DCIS. Melissa made life changes and bravely faced her journey, but a year later, she too was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

I truly believe God placed us in each other?s path?not only to lift one another up during the hardest times, but also to save one another. Today, Melissa is currently in treatment, and together we continue to fight with strength, hope, and faith.
