Everyone knows someone. I've known too many. This walk is for them and for the women we refuse to lose next.

 I've lost family and friends. I've supported loved ones through it. I've stood shoulder to shoulder with women as they navigated fear, faith, and fight.

This walk isn't about me. It's about them and about the millions of women and families impacted every year.

Team RB walks with purpose. We walk to honor. We walk to remember. And we walk to fuel the work that must continue.

Because the reality is:

• 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime
• Every 2 minutes, someone hears those words: "You have breast cancer"
• And while breast cancer affects all women, Black women are 40 percent more likely to die from it despite lower incidence rates

We can't change what's already happened. But we can change what happens next.

That's why we walk and why we support the mission of Susan G. Komen, the world's leading breast cancer organization. Every dollar raised helps fund the fight that's already changing lives. Komen provides direct support to millions through screenings, treatment assistance, and patient navigation. They've committed to eliminating the disparities in outcomes through targeted programs and advocacy. And they've invested over $1.1 billion in research, making them the largest nonprofit funder of breast cancer research outside the U.S. government.

This is more than a walk. This is action. This is responsibility. This is for the names we carry and the future we're determined to protect.
