Frances, or Kitina as many knew her, was an extraordinary human being and above all my sister. Kitin faced her battle with cancer with fearless courage. She was a fighter! and never lost her faith or hope. She was deeply involved with Susan G. Komen, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for this devastating disease. Kitina participated twice in the 3-Day Walk, one of the largest fundraising events organized by Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure and other events. Though she is no longer physically with us, I know Kitina presence will be in spirit, walking and encouraging us every step of the way. Help me reach my goal and contribute to a world without cancer.
