I joined the Susan G. Komen fundraiser this year in honor of my friend Alix. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and the grace and positivity she?s shown through it all have been truly inspiring.

I hope that if I?m ever faced with something like this, I handle it with the same strength and light that she has. Alix also happens to love my cats Finn and Dash and has quickly become their honorary ?kitty auntie.?

I?m walking for Alix and for everyone impacted by breast cancer, with the hope that, one day, no one has to face this disease.
