My Story
I was diagnosed with stage IIIA metastatic breast cancer in October 2024. My last several months have been filled with countless doctor’s appointments, surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. Even though I was vigilant about getting my yearly mammograms, my type of cancer is known to easily get missed on mammograms it doesn’t present as a lump, so my oncologist thinks I may have had it for several years.
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I would LOVE to have friends and family join me on this date as it will be just a couple days shy of my 1 year anniversary of when I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
