Why I Walk
On April 16, 2025, my twin sister was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma at just 38 years old. In that moment, her world, and mine, changed forever.
Her journey with breast cancer has only just begun, but she’s facing it with incredible strength, courage, and the unwavering determination to live a long, healthy life, and to make sure it never returns. Watching someone you love go through this fight is heartbreaking, but it’s also opened my eyes to just how many women are on this same path.
This year, I’m walking in the More Than Pink Walk not only in honor of my sister, but for all the women who are bravely battling breast cancer. Every step I take is a step toward hope, toward better treatments, and ultimately toward a cure.
Please join us in supporting this cause. It means the world to me, to my sister, and to so many others.
