Why I Walk

This year, I started a Walk Where You Are event called Anchored in Hope ? Lake Norrell. I walk because I am a 25-year breast cancer survivor. I am deeply thankful to be alive today, and I know early detection played a major role in my journey. That?s why I want to encourage every woman to be proactive?do regular self-breast exams and never put off your mammograms.

I walk with gratitude for my own life, but also with love and compassion for those who have been touched by breast cancer. This walk is for survivors, for those still fighting, and for the precious memories of those we?ve lost.

I invite you to join me?whether you?re walking in memory of someone special, in support of a loved one, or simply to stand together for hope and awareness. Together, we are Anchored in Hope. ?
