We joined the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk because this fight is personal. Breast cancer has touched our family and community in deep ways, including the loss of our loved one LaFonda Matthews, whose strength and courage continue to inspire us.

We walk to honor her memory, to support survivors, and to stand with families still fighting. LaFonda passed away from breast cancer just three months before her first two grandchildren were born, and she never had the chance to meet any of her six beautiful grandchildren. We walk for them too so that future generations can live in a world without breast cancer.

Every dollar raised helps fund life-saving research, patient navigation, education, financial assistance, and emotional support for those who need it most.

Together we can make a difference. Our goal is to raise $2,500.00 or more to support this important cause.
