Megan Davis's Breast Cancer Fight
My personal story is that my wife Megan, shown in the picture with our daughter Hollis, was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31. She had one of the worst breast cancer for younger women, triple negative. Being the fighter that she is, Megan fought on for 4 years before she lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 35. Hollis was only 3 when Megan got her first diagnosis. With the newer treatments that are available Megan was treated and went into remission for almost 2 years before the cancer returned. Even after the cancer returned, we were able to live a normal life with the drugs that are now available. God bless everyone who was willing to give! Hopefully, with the right research and funding we can put an end to this wretched disease!
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let?s show breast cancer patients there?s a whole community standing by their side.
