My breast cancer Story
This year, I was diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma and Incitu cancer in my left breast. On April 8th I underwent a left masectomy removing my left breast and replacing it with a temporary tissue expander. In December I will have my next surgery on both sides for semetry. This is NEVER the path I wanted to be on but here I am. I am only 43. The medical advances that have been made in this community have drastically improved my chances and the chances of others for survival and being cured! Right now they tell me I am cancer free! I am holding onto my full healing victory with gratitude to God (Jesus) and hope for a fully cancer free future!!
I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. In honor of breast cancer awareness month I will be doing a VIRTUAL WALK of 3.1 miles on October 25th. (location TBA in Bergen county) I hope you and your family will join my team and walk with me! It is FREE to register!

team "Victorious!" and register! Location to come soon (I am pretty sure it will be Overpeck Park. The more the merrier!! (We will picnic afterwards for anyone desiring to do so, no obligation obviously lol.)
