Funding Reductions of Cancer Screening and Research Programs Threaten Lives

The National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) represents 30 years of lifesaving breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment services to women with low incomes. Now the administration seeks to cut this lifeline of screenings and services to patients, communities, and providers in low-income areas. NBCCEDP’s lifesaving and cost-reducing early detection approach must be protected. Lives and the healthcare system are counting on it. Read more: https://bit.ly/43bGNCd

An estimated 319,750 people in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly 43,000 will die from the disease this year alone. Regular screening enables us to detect potential cancers at earlier stages and refer patients to further care, often yielding better outcomes for patients and resulting in decreased financial pressure on our healthcare system. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.

Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it's emotional support via Komen's helpline, financial support through Komen's financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let's show breast cancer patients there's a whole community standing by their side.

Will you please join me in this fight by making your donation today?
