This is my 5th year walking for Susan Komen, walk where you are fundraiser, the 4th one we are walking without my sister Tracy.

They say grief gets easier with time, I would disagree.  There is not a day that goes by that my heart doesnt hurt that she is no longer here.  I still grab my phone to call or text her, I still look for her advice.

Tracy was the bright light of our family, definitely the most social and outgoing of our siblings.  She was kind, smart, funny, generous, compassionate. She welcomed everybody into her circle and strangers became family to her.  She would help anyone in need, that's just who she was.

So I will continue to walk every year, not just to honor my sister.  But to help in my own way to fight and find a cure for this horrible disease.
