My Story
2025- I've been promising to walk this walk to my friend Annette for a couple years, and this is the year to do it! Those of you who have been around a while know that I walked the 2006 Sixty Mile Komen walk with Joan. We did it together, it was grueling and exhilarating. Since then a number of dear ones have had breast cancer, have survived breast cancer and we have lost some. i have not had breast cancer, but there are many angels in my life who have.
I'm walking because these funds I hope to raise will help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
