I’ve been raising money for the Los Angeles MORE THAN PINK Walk for so long that I honestly can’t remember exactly when I started! I do remember serving as a co-chair in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and being an active member of the volunteer committee for six years. My journey began when my wonderful college roommate was diagnosed and began her journey — and I knew I had to do something.

Although I no longer live in Los Angeles, the city still holds a special place in my heart, as does the mission of Susan G. Komen. This year, I’ve once again joined the Komen community and registered for the MORE THAN PINK Walk because I’m committed to Komen’s mission of ending breast cancer forever — and I need your help.

Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised support breakthrough research and provide direct assistance to people facing breast cancer today. Whether it’s emotional help through Komen’s helpline, financial assistance, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there.
