My Story
My breast cancer journey began last December when I felt a lump. After a mammogram in January showed no signs of cancer, I tried to move on?but the lump persisted. By March, I was referred to a breast surgeon, and after a biopsy in April that also showed no cancer, I decided to have the lump removed. It was only at my post-op appointment that I learned I had breast cancer?it was hidden in healthy tissue.
Since then, I?ve undergone many doctor visits and surgeries, including a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I?m currently taking hormone medication and awaiting my final surgery.
I created my team, Fearless & Fabulous, because I want to raise awareness about breast cancer and honor everyone fighting this disease. I would love for others to join me?whether by walking with our team or supporting us through donations?so together we can make a difference.
