You can never prepare yourself to hear the words: “You have cancer.” Seven months ago, my life was turned upside down, and I am forever changed. This walk isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us. Walk for the women who raised you, inspired you, and loved you. Walk because breast cancer can happen to anyone, and it does not discriminate.I fought hard for myself and for all the women who needed the strength to push through… and I won.

I’m joining the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk to honor survivors, support those still fighting, and remember the loved ones we’ve lost. Together, we can raise awareness, fund lifesaving research, and bring hope to families everywhere.

Because of this research, those who walked before me, fought before me, and lost to this disease;  is why I am alive today.
