2 years ago my mom, Kathy, died after a 5 year long fight with breast cancer. My mom did everything right: yearly mammograms, caught it early, all the treatments available. And yet she still could not beat it. The only way to eradicate this disease is to cure it, and that starts with research that needs funding.
