We walk for relatives and friends who have either fought breast cancer or been impacted by the disease, and for all women including ourselves who want a future free from hearing the words "you have breast cancer."

Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today (whether it?s emotional support via Komen?s helpline, financial support through Komen?s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care). Funds raised by the Susan G. Komen community have helped make breakthrough discoveries in cancer detection and treatment, including normalizing annual mammograms starting at age 40.
