I, Deboney, walk because breast cancer tried to silence two of the strongest women I know?but it didn?t win. My momma Margaret and my Auntie Patsy are sisters, survivors, and symbols of grace under fire. Their journey wasn?t easy, but they faced every diagnosis, every treatment, and every moment of uncertainty with courage that still leaves me in awe.

I walk because their fight became our family?s fight. Because I?ve seen what survival looks like?and I want more families to have that chance. I walk to raise money for research, support, and hope. I walk so that one day, no one has to hear the words ?you have breast cancer? without knowing there?s a community ready to stand beside them.

This walk is personal. It?s powerful. It?s kind. It?s intentional. And it?s a celebration of life, legacy, faith, and love.
