Team Simply Stephanie

Our Story

On March 23rd, 2023, I was officially diagnosed with Stage 2B, Grade 3 triple negative breast cancer. I thought my life was over. I mentally began to prepare myself for death. After all, it was inevitable; I had a family history of breast cancer (on my maternal side!) and I lost an aunt to it. Being matched with the greatest oncology team on the planet, enduring weeks of chemotherapy, radiation, sickness, fear, and a lumpectomy, I am here to praise God for being two years cancer free.

I walk in memory of my Granny. I walk in memory of my Aunt Edna. I walk in memory of my Aunt Ann, who lost her fight with breast cancer. I walk for my sisters, my aunts, my nieces and my great niece. I walk for my mother Christine, who is my greatest treasure and was my biggest fan while I was in the ring fighting breast cancer.

Celebrate with me and Team Simply Stephanie as we walk to make strides to find a cure for this beast. Let’s paint Atlanta PINK!!!!
