Pam's Proud Posse

Our Story

February 29, 2024 I went for a routine mammogram. I received a call back saying they wanted to investigate further. About 3 weeks later, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

I have completed 8 rounds of chemo and a double mastectomy as of September 2024. In December of 2024, I completed 16 rounds of high dose radiation. I’ve got multiple reconstruction surgeries ahead and had my ovaries removed in February of 2025. The fight continues on with medications to help prevent reoccurrence for the next 10 years.

This journey has been incredibly wild. Truly couldn’t have done it without my husband, family and friends. You all have stepped up in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I have felt so supported and loved while I’ve battled this disease. Thank you for everything, I’m forever in debt to you.

October 25 2025, I will be walking in honor of my friend Heather who I lost to inflammatory breast cancer as well as myself. Heather, I love you and miss you. This one is for you girl.

We have a lofty goal of 10k this year after raising over $6800 last year. Please consider a tax deductible donation and help us raise funds to end breast cancer.

xo, Pam
