Abu's Story
In April I lost my mother-in-law Claudia Corredor to stage 4 breast cancer. She faced this disease multiple times throughout her life and in her final days she taught us grace and courage. In October of 2023 she joined me in the More Than Pink walk. This October, we gather and walk in her memory.
I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for Latina women.
Funds raised help support research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it's emotional support via Komen's helpline, financial support through Komen's financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
