I’m SO excited to share that I’ve started a team for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk for the Atlanta GA event because I am committed to creating a world without breast cancer! I am proud to lead my team, as this cause is very personal to me.

For years, I've captained my corporate sponsored team in the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women to fight breast cancer in NYC before it ended in 2016.  I was consistently moved by the stories of survivor resilience and the heart of the breast cancer fighting community.   In the years since, I've quietly volunteered and donated in support of several organizations until by impulse, while visiting my family in GA last October, I decided to participate in this Susan G. Komen event and brought my sisters along.  It was incredibly encouraging to learn about the advancements in treatment and diagnostic technology made in the past decade. I was so re-invigorated by the joy and hope I experienced during this event, I felt compelled to form a team and ramp up fundraising efforts for 2025.   

Like many of you, I've watched family, friends, and colleagues battle breast cancer and felt powerless in their fight. But there IS something we can do! We can change lives through the community of fundraising and participating in events like these!  Will you join me in leading the way for more groundbreaking research and treatment for the next generation? 

This year alone, more than 300,000 people (men and women!) living in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer. And while great strides have been made in prevention and treatment, there is still so much work to be done to find the cures to end this terrible disease.
