My Story
On October 31, 2023 while many were celebrating Halloween. I received a diagnosis that changed my life: Stage 2 Breast Cancer. In that moment, time seemed to stand still. Fear tried to take over, but my faith rose stronger. I made a decision right then and there that this diagnosis would not define me, and it certainly would not defeat me.
The months that followed were filled with treatments, procedures, and moments that tested my strength in ways I never imagined. There were days of pain, uncertainty, and exhaustion, but also days of laughter, answered prayers, and deep gratitude for the people who surrounded me with love. My family, friends, and community became my lifeline, holding me up when I felt weak and celebrating every milestone along the way.
Today, I am beyond grateful to say I am cancer free. This victory is not just mine it’s for every woman fighting, every survivor, and every angel we’ve lost along the way. Walking in the Susan G. Komen event this year is my way of honoring the journey, standing in solidarity with others, and helping fund the research and support that saves lives.
Your donation isn’t just a gift it’s hope for someone’s mother, daughter, sister, or friend. It’s a step toward a world where no one has to hear the words, “You have breast cancer.”
Thank you for walking with me, standing with me, and believing with me.
