* Walk to school starts at 7:00 AM

In September 2023, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was a journey I never anticipated... one filled with challenges, strength, and the incredible support of my friends, family, and community who showed up every step of the way.

Just one month later, in October 2023, I participated in the MORE THAN PINK Walk just days after my very first chemo treatment. What could have been an overwhelming moment turned into something unforgettable, surrounded by unexpected love and support.

Shop Blake Ruby designed pink "Chi Nation" hats and Lupero created gold bracelets with four pink beads, representing each one of us in our family. That day, I was wrapped in a wave of strength, style, and sparkle which was a visible reminder of the love and community walking right beside our family.

What began as "Chi Nation" the name my amazing friends created to rally around me, has now grown into something even more powerful: Sparkle Eagle Nation, a team inspired by the next generation of kindness, courage, and pink drippy spirit.

Watching Austin and Nora, along with their friends, embrace this cause with open hearts fills me with happiness. Their energy reminds me that hope shines brightest when we face challenges together.

This year, I joined the Susan G. Komen® community once again for the MORE THAN PINK Walk, dedicated to their mission to end breast cancer forever and I need your help.

Your support helps bring us one step closer to a world without breast cancer.
