My Story 2025
I began my journey with Susan G. Komen one year after my first diagnosis with breast cancer in 2009. Walking with others who share a common goal has helped me realize we are never alone. As we walk, we share our stories , our fears and our hopes that a cure for this devastating disease will come soon. I have done many walks(never running) !
As life so then does, in 2021 it threw me a curveball - with another breast cancer diagnosis in 2021. This one was more invasive and required much more time and effort to conquer- but I did it! With the help of my family and friends and the Komen community, I am here to help and inspire anyone and everyone to walk , donate or volunteer to end this disease. I never shy away from telling my story and I encourage my fellow Survivors to tell their’s.
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
