My story is my sister. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in December of 2024 via a routine mammogram. She had a double mastectomy with full reconstruction in January of 2025. Due to some complications with the reconstruction, she will undergo another surgery in July and then more in the fall. 

My sister is one of the strongest, fiercest, bad-asses out there. I’ve always known this about her and there is no way that breast cancer is going to change that. Cancer picked the wrong person to mess with.
