On March 22, 2023, my doctor called me with the news no one wants to get — I had breast cancer. The days, weeks, and months that followed were scary and incredibly challenging both physically and emotionally, and thanks to my amazing team of doctors, I’m now on the other side and so so grateful to be cancer-free. But breast cancer still claims too many lives and creates too much suffering.
