My Story
Most of you know my reasons for helping Susan G Komen find a cure for breast cancer. In a nutshell, my journey began 24 years ago after one of my sister's was diagnosed with breast cancer and I felt that I needed to do something to help. I quickly became a HUGE advocate for Komen and their amazing program. My dedication to helping find a cure became even more important when my mom, another sister, and I were all diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. It remains as strong 24 years later as I watch my sister live with metastatic breast cancer & learn of more and more women, especially younger women, fighting this disease.
