In January of this year, my life changed when a routine mammogram revealed Stage 1 breast cancer. Hearing those words was overwhelming, but I knew I had to face it head-on. On March 7, I underwent surgery, and soon after I completed 20 sessions of radiation?every single day for four weeks.

On May 21, I was blessed to ring the bell and celebrate being a survivor. While I continue with checkups every six months, I am grateful every day for the strength I?ve found, the love and support of my family and friends, and the care of my medical team.

I am walking to share my story, to celebrate this milestone, and to raise funds for those still fighting and for the research that will bring us closer to a cure. Thank you for standing with me in this journey and for supporting a cause that is so close to my heart.
