To some my story will be new, but to others that have been by my side, I am truly GRATEFUL to you! 

Earlier this year in February, I received devasting news I never thought I’d hear, “you have breast cancer” at that moment my life was completely turned upside down. Not knowing what to expect, I embarked on a very scary journey.  I met with several wonderful specialists at MCI and had my first surgery in April. With the support of my sons, family, a handful of friends (but most importantly) my faith and all the prayers answered by God…I AM CANCER FREE!  

My journey isn’t over yet as I have one more surgery in September, but I am confident I will continue to fight this battle and win.
