My Story
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk.
I am supporting this cause because I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2024 based on a routine mammogram in July. Initially, the doctor thought that it was a benign lymph node and I was told to come back for another mammogram in six months.
However, I advocated for myself to get an MRI, which led to a biopsy and a diagnosis. I had a lumpectomy on September 24, 2024, completed radiation in December 2024, and started hormone blocking treatment tamoxifen in January 2025.
I am requesting the support of my family and friends to help in this effort to raise funds to support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our help. I am also looking for walkers to join my team, TEAM NATALIE.
The walk is Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way, Papillion, NE, 68046
