Hello family and friends
This walk means so much to me because I have been doing this walk for a couple years to honor two special people in my life Kisha Buckingham and Krystal Hill. This is a walk that I participate with their families and their honor. This year is a little more special because on July 11, 2025, I was called into the doctors office to do a biopsy and on July 24, 2025I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. I will begin radiation in October and looking forward to survive this. This journey has taught me a lot about myself! I want to honor Team K-N-K with participation and donations.
As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. KomenŽ in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
