My name's Matthew Stephens, I was born in 2007 in the Bronx, NYC and ever since then it's been a wild ride. I've lived across the world in places like the UK and now I've gone from Ohio to North Carolina. But one person that's grounded me, kept me going, is me having the best mom in the world Carlene Stephens. My mom has fought breast cancer twice, once while having me and the other while having my sister. But she didn't let that stop her, she beat it both times and by the grace of God is laughing with us all today. Every year i've always made an effort to push towards the cause of one day ending breast cancer, Last year I wore breast cancer awerness merch to every football game I played in and it got alot of people(mainly the refs) to notice. But now that I'm not in high school and playing football anymore I decided to do something special. I am running in this months 5k to raise funds for research because it's about time I put something on the line myself. Even in College my mom may be over 300 miles away, but our bond is stronger than any distance and I'll show that on October 11th 2025
