Honoring Janis Kay
October is Breast Cancer awareness month and I would like to walk for those still undergoing treatment and honor those who are no longer with us to keep fighting.
My Be loved Grandmother whom lived a long beautiful life passed away in 2020.
She lived most of her life giving and taking care of others. She spread the word of God to anyone that would listen, no matter what life thrown her way. My Grandmother suffered from Breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy in her left breast. Thankfully her procedure was successful. My Grandmother was a proud survivor and loved her body nonetheless. She embraced her new reality and taught me so much about self love and continuously broke stigmas and exuded positivity, confidence and resiliencey.
As I honor my Grandmother, I push all women to loves themselves no matter if we dont fit into society?s norms. We are all different and thats what makes each of us perfect.
